Profile

I studied political science and history in Munich, followed by economic and social history and the history of international politics in Marburg, focusing on corporate history and the history of colonialism in sub-Saharan Africa.

In my dissertation project, I examine the production and application of management and planning knowledge in Ghana between 1950 and 1980. Within the framework of a history of knowledge, I aim to recognize both the knowledge bases created locally and their epistemic significance, as well as to examine transnational West-South and East-South knowledge transfers.
